We always play better against good sides and I am confident our boys will be up for it.

Having a day out in Bradford then onto the match. Hope we win and hope we play in red because my partner struggles to understand why we should play in any other colour.

Think i read that all 3 are fit for tonight or as close as! I would expect to see all 3 on bench. As for Mcgee I think DE is talking to MFC about extension of loan. One thing for sure it going to be tough but I hope the lads we put out are up for fight. I will be happy with a draw< predict 2-2.

Not sure whether the new centre forward Ben Mckenna will figure tonight either? Defensively We should stay as we are, in midfield I would go Mcluckie left, Mcgee on right and Hewson and Greenhalgh in middle, up top J Wright and if he is there I would stick the new boy in??? subs May, Wright, Arnison and Manship + keeper
COYR

Mcgee back to Morcambe, Dabber out, Wordsworth out, Kyle out, Bones? Could be interesting scoreline!
Don't worry Edmo will sort it

No McGee, may, greenlaugh, a wright, hewson. Wordsworth, cowperthwaite and mcluckie are struggling to get work off apparently. We have signed 2 players on loan just to have someone on the bench. Connerton registration is still not sorted so he can't play either.

Andrews will be suspended as we didn't put the appeal in on time. Not sure if tonight is his first game of it.

Small miracle required to get a result. But you never know

Good to see Carlisle helping Gateshead by allowing them to play at Brunton Park !!

Maybe they could help other neighbours in times of trouble and injury

Reds add midfielders Simon Baldry and Ben McKenna to their squad for the trip to Bradford PA tonight. Jordan Connerton returns

A much better performance than Saturday, against a half decent side playing full of confidence. A really assured performance from Dixon and the back four...I think Dixon got a hand to the shot that hit the post, and if so, it was a brilliant save. Lee Andrews was probably MoM for me, hardly putting a foot (or head ) wrong. Baldry looks a decent player, pity he didn't bury our best chance.
The officials were much better and sharper tonight, though they didn't really do us any favours.
I wish BPA all the best for their play off bid, they seem a decent friendly club, but I think next year is their best chance.
We just need to work hard like tonight...and have some belief.

A cold, misty night causing a hard bouncy pitch, which effected passing etc. We should have had a penalty for hand ball, hit our shots harder etc, 2-3 chances missed. Dixon did well againin goal, and we coped reasonably well for most of the game, then for some reason let them waltz though us to score the only goal of the game! They could have had 2 but for Dixon tipping their shot onto the bar late on. A better performance than recent, but we missed the drive and control in mid-field, and power in our shots. Was glad to get into Ray's car with the heater on afterwards!!

:) What with the reaction of live text and reports, plus the more positive views of those who braved the temps and the long trip, AGAIN!!, it would appear we got a reaction from the farcical performance on saturday. My question is and ive seen for myself why are we a completely different team away from home :?: :?: Did the new boys slot in well? Glad Lee had a good game for me he is a better centre half than right back> Roll on Storpford but not the bloody long trip

It was effin cold!

A much better effort from our lads. Not exactly a great game but we competed well without getting the rub of the green. However in a game of few chances for either side, the same old failings were there in fromt of goal for the couple of opportunities that came our way. We also failed to defend as a team for their winner, when the Bradford player was allowed to waltz past three or four men before burying it in the far corner of the net, albeit the defence did look more solid with Lee Andrews back in the centre. Also the new lad who started at No 11 did ok.

Overall, a promising, fighting display in a game from which I expected little return. Had we produced the same at Hinckley or against Gloucester, it would undoubtedly have seen us with more points on the board.

Let's hope that Harrogate and Brackley can do us a favour tonight and then we really do need a result on Saturday.

Thought the lads were smashing. We were the better team by half-time and most important, we kept hold of the ball. Ok some shoddy hit and hopes when you had time to light a fag, but that is non-league for you. The moves that Bradford made and the times they got to the goal-line to pass it into the centre for a tap-in, suggested that they were the most likely to score but we rode our luck.
Nice to see Jordan return and the new guy looked like a slow accomplished professional. maybe an impact player, but not a starter.

The goal they scored should not have happened but they just about deserved to win.

I thought I would ask Patricia which team we should be shouting for, saying as I have a gold top like one of the teams on the pitch. She answered ''the ones in white''. I then asked on the way home, ''so which team won Pat''. She thought i was trying to trip her up, so she replied, ''neither team won it was a nil nil draw''.

I am beginning to wonder about this ladies team we have.
