Everybody is in mourning right now. The club is still a runaway train going downhill. Steady the ship? We won't steady until we have hit the bottom. The big question is where is the bottom? We need new blood. We need somebody big enough to come along and say, ''I have a sustainable plan. Follow me''...

''The inability to replace Taylor and Wright'', says Joe. We had a bloke on the forum last week who runs the county under 18 side, a job that Dave Rodgie used to do. I know he has been put before the directors, and hopefully we will be able to see what he can offer. My own take on that is that if it...

Count me in for any committee. I have made my own suggestions anyway, but who cares whose ideas we use as long as we do. I suggest anyone else interested puts their name forward as soon as. Maybe when the club has it's AGM this may be discussed. You can also put me down to assist any Commercial Mana...

If I was the board I would run the club on what it earns and no more. £35,000 loss this season. Ridiculous.

Good post there Cambs Red. Mont Red. Thanks a million for talking to us all. First thing you need to know is that I am just an enthusiastic supporter who makes a noise and thinks he knows a bit. There are better heads on the forum than me, who often have me corrected. By talking to us all, you will ...

Very interested myself in what you have to say Mont Red, only please tell us all if you will. The Reserves set up. My experience of back-up teams at this sort of level, in regards to usefulness, has always been that they are held in low regard by senior players. The attitude of ''you won't get me pl...

Just a word in defence of Ashley. He came to the club as an A grade coach. Does anybody have any idea how good an A grade coach is? Well if you knew, then the word muppet would never cross your mind. These people command the utmost respect. Not only have they reached that point on the coaching ladde...

Do yourselves a favour and take a look at the Women's game.

It's a slower game but the girls can play a bit and you will come away from the game full of respect.

I don't think that the state we are in is any fault of Macca nor Ashley. They inherited a hopeless situation. The fault is the delusion that we can survive in Conference North by the power of the chequebook. Can we now kick that ideology into touch and decide to start building this club some solid f...

I'll tell you what we are doing well. Hospitality. Me and Pat were treated with tremendous respect and appreciation yesterday and I thank you all for doing so. It's the something that makes you want to come back for more. Well done guys. The match? Oh I wasn't watching really. I didn't really go for...

How about a squad builder fund? I would need member to stick with it all season and not just give up and leave the club short. I was thinking about maybe putting an idea forward of a bingo lottery, but I am struggling with the spreadsheet? Any experts out there can help? Have been talking to David ...

Coming up on Saturday on the train again. Doing the £30 individual sponsorship, where you have a meal in the Shankly and get to rub shoulders with the magnificent people who sponsor the match and the excellent people who run the club. Tell me a better way of spending your money than that. How about ...

Lynch and Hindmarch create nothing as midfield players and I am not superior, I just have more football experience. I saw them last night hiding from having the ball played to them. The other Workington guys don't even attempt to give them the ball as they already know that is pointless, so the midf...

Anybody who says Lynch and Hindmarch are good players don't know what they are talking about. Every time I have seen them, neither of them operate as a midfield player should. They rarely offer themselves to the ball, they create nothing, most of what they do is help the ball on. Last night, they we...

Really do believe that we will start getting some wins. Why? First of all we have two key players from Rochdale who are making the difference we need. Second, we are beginning to play teams who have nothing to play for. Both Colwyn Bay and Bradford are neither going up nor down, and it really can me...

He was initially with Bolton Wanderers (then in the Premier League) and when released by them he went to Fleetwood (League Two) and is now on a work experience loan with the Reds (Conf. North). Logical to me.[/quote] Just goes to show that decent young lads exist in Cumbria. Shame they have to trave...

Can I just say that I am not comfortable with the expense we have undertaken by having a management duo that do not contribute on the playing side. Ideally, I would have opted for a player-manager, with a number two coming again from the senior playing staff, if possible. What we have is a large chu...

Colwyn Bay and BPA points and points in the last five, even with the players we have; why are we giving up?

By the way, I saw us play Hednesford at their place this season in the cup and we lost. They were nothing special. Why can't we go there and win on Saturday?
